About Bosco Bracco
Set among the rolling hills of Canelli in the heart of Piedmont’s UNESCO-recognized wine region, Bosco Bracco is a small, estate-driven winery defined by exceptional land, old vines, and a clear sense of purpose. The vineyards occupy prime hillside positions with ideal exposure, where 30- to 50-year-old vines grow in calcareous, mineral-rich soils that naturally limit yields and give rise to wines of depth, balance, and elegance.
At Bosco Bracco, the philosophy is simple: the wines are shaped by the land, not by trends. Production centers on indigenous grape varieties – Nebbiolo, Barbera, and Dolcetto – alongside a Chardonnay Vino Bianco, all crafted in small quantities to allow each vintage to express the true character of its terroir. Every step of the process, from vineyard to bottle, is carefully controlled with an uncompromising focus on quality. Harvesting is done entirely by hand, vineyard work is carried out with respect for the environment, and all winemaking and bottling take place on the estate, with select wines produced under DOCG designation.
Winemaking is led by Hakan Lindstrom, whose more than 20 years of experience in Piedmont bring a steady, thoughtful approach rooted in tradition, research, and continuous refinement. His work reflects a belief that excellence comes from precision and restraint, allowing the vineyard and the soil to speak clearly, without excessive intervention. Production remains intentionally limited, ensuring hands-on attention and consistency across every wine.
Bosco Bracco entered a new chapter under the ownership of American couple Jeff and DeVonne, who were drawn to the authenticity of the land and the integrity of the wines. While deeply committed to preserving the estate’s traditional approach and connection to its territory, they bring a fresh, modern energy that emphasizes hospitality, approachability, and the joy of sharing great wine. The property itself includes a restored estate villa, now available for private rental, offering guests the opportunity to immerse themselves fully in the vineyards, cellar, and Piedmont lifestyle that shape the wines.
After years of being enjoyed only locally and within Europe, Bosco Bracco wines are now available in the United States for the first time, both through traditional distribution as well as direct to consumer. American consumers can now access a collection rooted in old vines, experienced craftsmanship, and a deep respect for place — authentic Piedmont wines that celebrate their territory while welcoming a new generation of wine lovers.
Our wines are shaped by the land, not by trends. We work with indigenous grapes and small production to let each vintage express the true character of our terroir.
