Our wines are our life. They tell of the places we live, of what we like to do, of the choices we make
every day in our vineyards and winery. Our wines represent our past, present and the future on which
we have chosen to invest.

About Mauro Molino

Mauro Molino is a family-owned estate in the heart of the Barolo production area, in La Morra. The story began in 1982 when Mauro, after inheriting the family vineyards from his father Giuseppe, fulfilled a lifelong dream and released his first label: Barolo Conca. This marked the start of his winemaking journey, which led him to recognize the great potential of La Morra’s vineyards, known for their fragrant, elegant Barolos with soft tannins, thanks to the unique calcareous, marly, and sandy soils. Throughout the 1990s, the estate grew stronger with Mauro leveraging his agronomy background and passion for the territory to acquire new plots in the best positions, such as Berri on the western slope of La Morra.

In 2003, Matteo, Mauro’s firstborn, joined the business and oversaw production, bringing a wave of innovation from his studies at the Oenological Alba Wine School. 2008 was Martina’s year, also part of the second generation: she took charge of the communicative and commercial side, further helping to establish the Mauro Molino name in the highest-quality markets.

Nowadays, Matteo and Martina continue to produce the company’s historical wines with passion, while also exploring new projects and winemaking techniques. The estate owns 20 hectares across Langhe and Roero, growing traditional Piedmontese varieties such as Arneis, Barbera, Dolcetto, Nebbiolo, and a small batch of Chardonnay from a vineyard planted in the early ’90s. The Barolo range includes a classic Barolo and prestigious crus from Conca, Bricco Luciani, La Serra, and Berri area. In 2025, the first Barbaresco from a small parcel in Giacosa MGA, located in the village of Treiso, is added to the selection. This represents the fulfillment of a long-held dream, fully pursued by the second generation with both a traditional and dynamic approach.

Mauro Molino’s strength lies in its deep connection to family roots and its unwavering commitment to quality and continuous improvement, both in the vineyard and the cellar. The company focuses on preserving the terroir of origin for each variety grown to produce fragrant and graceful wines, where elegance and aromaticity are the signatures of their distinctiveness. Finally, sustainability is central to this approach, with minimal intervention in the vineyards to foster a harmonious relationship between man and nature. The vision is to build long-term partnerships with clients and partners, ensure timely communication and high-quality support, to further enhance the family brand recognition.
