About David Milligan Selections

In 1995, David Milligan left his post at Seagram Chateau & Estate Wines, nestled snugly within the corporate wine world, to launch his own French-wine import company with one vision in mind: To bring the French wines he loved to you, the consumer.

From his first scouting trip to France, David began hand-selecting estates from across the wine regions with an eye for high-quality French wines at affordable prices. In 2006, David’s son, Alex, joined him in his quest. Now, Alex is leading the charge, finding new French estates to excite the next generation of wine lovers.

DMS’ producers practice sustainable agriculture in the vineyard and the highest standard of winemaking in the winery to perfectly present each vineyard’s individuality. It is because of this shared commitment, as well as our “Direct from the Producer” system of distribution, that we are able to represent some of the best values in each category.
